Here comes... Rammstein!

“Maybe the album isn't quite as great as the classic Mutter but it's pretty damn close and this is a band whose songs have a habit of creeping under your skin and into your life. It's still one of the best releases of the year - a clever, subversive dark and strangely amusing record of filthy raw power that I've been enjoying playing full blast through my atomised headphones a I crunch out heavy weights in the gym - and what higher compliment for a rock record can there be than that!” (John Robb, The Quietus, para ler na íntegra aqui).

“(…) a celebration that the Rammstein of yore are back and metaphorically, if not literally, on fire. Braving the collective "meh" that greeted 'Rosenrot', their new album is a swaggering behemoth of laser-guided industrial rock. 'Waidmann's Heil' and 'Ich Tu Dir Weh' may share creative D.N.A. with classics like 'Feuer Frei' and 'Du Hast', but it's the blast beat, guitar pyrotechnic blur of 'Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da' and the fantastically nightmarish 'Wiener Blut' that arguably elevate this album to a similar level as their quintessential ‘Mutter'.” (http://www.rocksound.tv/)

(Comment a esta Review: As a die hard Rammstein fan, I have to say this album broke my heart.

Looking at the Wikipedia articles for their previous albums, I’ve noticed that all other albums have mostly unfavourable reviews. This album seems to be the only Rammsteim album that has received generally positive reviews when really it is, unfortunately, the band’s most bland, uncreative and unmoving album to date. The choruses drone on, and the guitar riffs sound half-hearted and sleepy. To suggest that this review would compare “Liebe” to “Mutter” is borderline offensive to me.Mutter is responsible for what I call the ‘goosebump factor’-- music so good that it gives me goosebumps.(...)" “Anyone familiar with the industrial-metal band's dark sense of irony should take one look at the title of Rammstein's 2009 album LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA ("Love Is There For Everyone") and conclude that this one is a mean monster. Combining the tightness and punch of their 1998 album SEHNSUCHT with the musicianship and elaborate textures of their later work, LIEBE IST is a grand achievement, skillfully dividing its time between razor sharp metal rockers like "B********" or the opening theme song "Rammlied" and nostalgic, cabaret pieces that conjure the spirits of Weil and Brecht at a goth club.” (http://www.cduniverse.com/).

“Rammstein owes DEPECHE MODE a royalty check for "Haifisch," which Depeche Mode should pay back for making their band sound more fun than they ever really were.”

“If you gander at the sprawled nudity and fantastical nihilism of the album's foldouts, you'll understand Rammstein is here to push the envelope as far as society will sustain it without getting jailed for common indecency. Alienating a broad audience with their album title alone, Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da is nonetheless a largely fun, thumping record with more than a few changeups to their militant-sounding metal stamps.” (The Metal Minute Blogspot).
